Recent Launches and Shipping Notes from the Studio
A look at what DS Bureau has shipped recently — patterns we reused, lessons from the field, and what we are building next.
Shipping is the only review that matters. Here is an honest snapshot of recent work from DS Bureau — what went live, what we learned, and the patterns we are carrying into the next engagement.
SOFTFIN — operations hub for accounting firms
SOFTFIN centralizes client records, engagements, tasks, and team assignments for financial services firms that had outgrown spreadsheet sprawl. The white-label layer let partner organizations deploy under their own brand without forking the codebase. Lesson reinforced: B2B buyers pay for fewer tools and clearer ownership, not feature checklists copied from enterprise CRM screenshots.
BindTag — physical QR to digital listing
BindTag connects windshield QR magnets to mobile listing pages with real-time scan analytics. Sellers and dealerships manage designs, orders, and leads in one SaaS surface. We reused our standard SaaS development stack — Next.js, Supabase, Stripe — to move from prototype to production in a tight window. Lesson: nail the order-and-fulfillment loop before expanding partner APIs.
Recapy, Awase, and vertical slices
Recapy and Awase represent how we approach vertical products — deep workflow understanding first, UI second. Both shipped with role-specific dashboards rather than configurable-everything admin panels nobody configures. If you are launching SaaS in a niche market, copy that discipline.
Realtor AI — assistive intelligence in a trusted workflow
Realtor AI added drafting and summarization where agents already worked, with human review baked into the UX. We skipped the "autonomous agent" theater and shipped features agents used daily. See our insights on AI in B2B products for the philosophy behind those choices.
Custom business software
Not every launch is a named platform. Custom business solutions engagements replaced operational glue — bespoke pricing engines, multi-location scheduling, integration bridges — for teams that would never fit off-the-shelf SaaS. These projects often start under our replace operational chaos pathway.
What is next in the studio
We are doubling down on migration projects: spreadsheet-to-app replacements, CRM consolidation, and improve-product retainers for teams that need continuous design and engineering without hiring full-time yet. We are also investing in bilingual delivery — English and Spanish product copy, support flows, and marketing sites that feel native, not translated as an afterthought.
Work with us on the next launch
If you have a launch date that cannot slip or operations that break every quarter-end, we should talk. Get in touch with your timeline and constraints. We will respond with a realistic slice plan — what ships first, what waits, and what we need from your team to make it real.
