BindTag
BindTag connects physical vehicles to digital listings with QR magnet stickers. Private sellers and dealerships create codes, choose designs, order print-ready magnets, and track every scan in real time.
- Timeline
- 12 weeks from concept to live SaaS with ordering flow
- Role
- Product design, brand identity, full-stack development, and go-to-market pages
The challenge
Private sellers and small dealerships still rely on windshield signs and word of mouth, while buyers expect instant access to photos, pricing, and contact options on their phones. Paper flyers get wet, phone numbers get misread, and there is no way to know whether anyone actually looked at a listing. The gap between a car sitting on a lot and a polished digital presence was costing sellers leads they never knew they lost.
Our approach
We treated the QR magnet as the product — not an afterthought on a listing site. The experience had to work in under three seconds: scan, land on a mobile-optimised page, see the car, tap to call or message. We mapped the full journey from code generation and design selection through print-ready export and fulfillment tracking, then built SEO topic pages around high-intent automotive search terms to drive organic discovery alongside direct seller signups.
The solution
BindTag gives every vehicle a unique QR code tied to a smart listing page with photos, price, specifications, and one-tap contact actions — no app download required. Sellers browse a design catalog, customise magnet layouts, and order print-ready files or physical magnets through an integrated checkout. A real-time analytics dashboard tracks scans by time, location, and listing, so sellers know when interest spikes and can follow up while intent is hot. The marketing site, authenticated app, and fulfillment pipeline share a unified Next.js codebase deployed for fast iteration.
Outcomes
Sellers went from handwritten signs to trackable digital listings in minutes. Scan analytics revealed stronger engagement than static signage alone, and the ordering flow shortened the time between listing creation and having a magnet on the vehicle. Dealerships gained a repeatable lead-generation channel they could deploy across inventory without rebuilding listings for every car.
Key outcomes
- More listing views from physical-to-digital QR scans
- Faster path from vehicle intake to live listing
- Real-time scan analytics gave sellers visibility into buyer interest by location and time
- Integrated magnet ordering removed friction between creating a listing and getting it on the car
