FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Engagement models, timelines, ownership, and how we work with teams across the US, Canada, and Latin America.
What is Excel Hell and how do you help businesses escape it?
Excel Hell is when critical business operations live in fragmented spreadsheets — broken formulas, version conflicts, and hours lost to manual copy-paste. DS Bureau replaces that chaos with custom CRMs, dashboards, internal tools, and automated workflows built around how your team actually works.
Do you build SaaS products from scratch?
Yes. We design and develop SaaS platforms end to end — product strategy, UX/UI, full-stack engineering, auth, billing integrations, AI features, and scalable infrastructure for B2B and B2C products from MVP through production scale.
What services does DS Bureau offer?
Product design, web design, software development, brand vision, spreadsheet solutions, and SaaS development — including custom CRMs, internal tools, workflow automation, and AI-powered applications.
How much does a typical project cost?
It depends on scope, complexity, and how much is already defined. Internal tools, SaaS MVPs, and larger platforms each land in different ranges. We confirm exact scope and investment after a paid discovery so you get a clear proposal before build starts.
How long does a project take?
A simple workflow tool or internal dashboard usually takes 8–14 weeks. A focused SaaS MVP takes 14–20 weeks. Complex platforms and enterprise systems can take 20–32+ weeks. We scope each engagement in discovery and ship in thin slices so you see progress early.
Do we own the source code and data?
Yes. You own the source code, the data, and the production accounts we deploy to. We hand over repositories, documentation, and deployment pipelines so your team can operate and extend the product independently.
Do you work with clients in Latin America and Canada?
Yes. We target the United States, Canada, and Latin America with English as the root experience and Spanish under /es. Our team is used to working across time zones and can deliver in English or Spanish.
Do you sign NDAs before discovery?
Yes. We can sign a mutual NDA before sharing sensitive product, operations, or financial details. For many engagements we start with a paid discovery sprint so both sides can evaluate fit with clear boundaries.
What technology stack do you typically use?
We ship production software on modern web stacks — primarily Next.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Supabase or similar backends. We choose infrastructure based on your product needs, not a fixed template. See our work on BindTag, Recapy, Awase, and SOFTFIN for examples.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. Many clients continue with a monthly retainer for iteration, bug fixes, and feature shipping. We document and hand off everything so your team can also operate independently if you prefer.
